Working in veterinary medicine has always been a dream of Becky’s.  She recently finished Wayne County Community College’s

veterinary technician program.  Working at the Dworkis Dog and Cat hospital is her first experience working as a technician.

She also currently works at the Detroit Zoo where she has spent the last ten years as a reptile and amphibian zookeeper. 

She enjoys hiking, backpacking, birdwatching and spending time with her family and her two dogs, Moof and Fern.
